Dominique Vernay
Born April 20, 1948, Dominique Vernay is an engineer from the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité. He joined the Thales Group in 1973 as a research engineer and spent his entire professional career there. In 1991, he became the Director of the Training Simulators Division in France and Britain. From 1996 to 2009, he served as the Technical Director for the group and managed the internationalisation of the research and technology policy.
Dominique Vernay is deeply involved in the world of research and innovation: Chair of the Systematic research cluster, founder of the club of global research clusters, CNRS board member and FCS board member at the Paris-Saclay Campus, Strategic Board member with the OSEO and the National Industry Conference.
